This blog is dedicated to Comparative Slavery: Roman and American. My students and I will update it regularly for the duration of my third year undergraduate module on Roman and American Slavery, which is currently taught at the School of Archaeology and Ancient History in the University of Leicester. We will include information about the class, social media and slavery, online resources on Roman and American slaves and anything else that pertains the teaching of such a module. This blog is part of an ongoing experiment on how to use social media for educational purposes.
